The RWS 460 is one of the least hold sensitive guns I have ever owned. I bought the 460 in 22 caliber. I’m shooting tin cans at 75 yards,. This is a very accurate gun. Thank you Umarex for your fast and friendly service. I failed to mention how powerful this gun is .

Absolutely off the chart, heck-a-incredible air rifle!
Umarex had a killer deal around Black Friday 2020. I was fortunate enough to pick up the RWS MODEL 460 MAGNUM .22 for a fraction of the MSRP. The people I spoke to on the phone at Umarex were easy to work with, professional, kind, knowledgeable and super helpful too. Simply put, they answered my questions and helped me to make the right choice in no time at all.
Now to the 460 Magnum...
I was a little apprehensive due to several reviews stating this air rifle is hard to cock. I have found this air rifle easy to cock...even using only one hand. It is indeed a bicep builder, but not overly difficult to cock. So that is a huge plus for me.
Second, the quality of workmanship is completely off the chart heck-a-good. The wood stock is exquisite. Far above average quality of wood and workmanship.
Third, hands down the metal bluing gets an A+. Professional quality and made to last for years if kept dry, temperature controlled storage and well oiled. It gleams like a much more expensive air rifle.
Forth, accuracy is incredible. Super accurate even up to 80+ yards, but make sure you find a zoom scope that can handle the magnum springer.
Last, it is much quieter than nearly all my other air rifles. I was surprised at how quiet it shoots.
In conclusion, if you are looking for an air rifle of extraordinary quality, excellent accuracy, super quiet and bicep building easy cocking look no further. You will find all of these qualities in this RWS MODEL 460 MAGNUM .22.
