For under $40, the Brodax revolver has not disappointed. It has a nice weight to it and the hammer & trigger is metal. Shoots very accurate using double action, single action requires more knowledge of proper pistol holds to ensure accuracy. Trigger travel reduces in double action makes it easier for my kids (5&6) to be able to learn to shoot (with intimate supervision, of course). My wife LOVES shooting the Brodax as well. The sights are fixed, so I simply added a lime green strip to aid with aiming - black on black makes it a bit harder for new shooters, adding a strip I cut from a target sticker really helps a ton with target acquisition. I also own an Umarex XBG and for the slight price difference, the Brodax is certainly steps above. TIP: Brodax comes with 3 rotary mags which are 10 shots each - to fill them quickly I bury the magazine in a container of BBs, lift it out and simply seat the BBs with my thumb. You can use a ziplock bag or the larger BB containers (I use Daisy, Crosman BBs tend to fall thru because they are many times not even 4.5mm). It’s very easy to load quickly and the handle has a key to install co2 without requiring extra tools. Just a quick drop of pellgun oil on each cartridge really helps keep everything lubricated. I average about 60-70 solid shots per cartridge, depending on how fast I fire it. It has rails (top & bottom) for accessories, but I find the fixed sights to be good enough for me. I can smack targets at 40yds with a fresh co2 cartridge, so it certainly has some power. Virtually no drop within 20-30yds. We really love this Brodax! Fun for the entire family. I also have an Octane Elite from Umarex and the XBG like I mentioned - becoming a fan of Umarex more every day. Reliable air guns, I’ve put 12,000 shots or more through my Brodax, 1,200 through my Octane Elite and probably 5-6,000 on the XBG. All 3 still on it like a hornet. Price aspect for this gun was very good, Good for a Starter revolver . Got this for my Girlfriend to learn on and plink with me and she said she loves it so I'm happy with it. Thank you UMAREX!

I just received the UX Brodax as a gift.  I am impressed with the build quality and the look.  I measured the trigger pull and on mine the double action is 5 lb and single action is just under 2 lb.  That is better than most revolvers I have owned and definitely better than the M9 I was issued in Afghanistan.

Shoots dead on at 20 to 45 feet . Gets a good 80 rounds per CO2 cartridge.. Good trigger easy shooting & loading need more magazines than three. Fun safe & reliable !
